A native to the northwest, its blue, tubular flowers attract bumblebees and hummingbirds.   It is easily identified by its toothed leaves with purple undersides.  It will tolerate extra water and some shade, especially if the soils are well-drained.  (perennial / plant fall, winter, or spring)
